Message #15275
[Bug 847439] Re: "Permission Denied" error
What is your backup location set to? Do you have permission to write to
that folder? This sounds like Deja Dup isn't even getting as far as
trying to create a backup, but it might be failing when trying to create
the backup location.

Title:
"Permission Denied" error
Status in Déjà Dup Backup Tool:
Incomplete
Status in “deja-dup” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I have Deja-Dup configured to run a backup daily. For the past few
weeks it has been stuck in the launcher, unclickable, and not actually
running any backups.
I finally went into the Settings window and clicked "Back Up Now", and it throws a "Permission Denied" error.
A screenshot of the error is attached.
Any ideas what is wrong?
