[Bug 1525939] Re: trash bin shown non-empty, yet there are no files in the trash
Thank you for your bug report. Do you have hidden files in there? Does
it list anything if you do "ctrl-h"?

Title:
trash bin shown non-empty, yet there are no files in the trash
Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
The trash bin icon is shown as containing files, yet the nautilus
Trash window shows no files. The "Empty" button is enabled though.
When pressed, the confirm dialog is shown - upon confirming, nothing
is done though - the nautilus Trash still shows no files, the "Empty"
button stays enabled and the Unity trash bin icon stays full.
Attaching screenshot of the issue.
