Message #153168
[Bug 1526889] [NEW] Better and more useful Firefox Startpage
Public bug reported:
The default startpage in Ubuntu is not horrible, but it is kind of
annoying, because it doesn’t scale at all with higher resolutions.
Also setting Google as a default, isn't bad, but it would be better if you could choose on the page, which search engine you want to use, and set the startpage accordingly.
There should still be a search bar, with Google in the middle of the site, and also the Ubuntu links, but also options to change the search engine and startpage on the fly, to reduce setup time.
If all of this is to much work, at least please get the scaling right,
so it doesn’t look like a scam.
** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
