  When SC opens it delays then goes grey screen and doesn't respond

Status in software-center package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I realize this is a common occurrence in the Linux community, thus I
  already did the obvious, purging software center etc.... I realize it
  can be fixed and I want it to be fixed, a quick solution would be
  great thanks!
