  Provide an option to open an application after install

Status in software-center package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Enhancement request.

  It would be good to provide an option to open an application
  immediately after installing. It is natural to assume that after
  installing a deb package (Manually downloaded package/ using the
  software center) people would like to open that application
  immediately.

  How to go about it: After the app is installed search for .desktop
  files that the app installs (dpkg stuff). Launch that file if
  presents.
