[Bug 1527837] Re: "Make Link" operation missing from context menu(Unity7, Xenial)
Well, lucky me!. After my comment on Bugzilla they pushed a patch which
adds an option in the context menu.

Title:
"Make Link" operation missing from context menu(Unity7, Xenial)
Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
In Nautilus 3.15.x create symbolic links ("make link") was removed
from the context menu (not sure why?). The alternate method with
middle-click/drag does not work with mouse-less device
(laptops/netbooks) and the other alternate method, which involves
mouse, keyboard and three fingers simultaneously, is very
inconvenient for normal users and has bugs.
And It doesn't look like upstream is keen to get back this option
very soon. For LTS, its a major regression and Ubuntu should patch it
until they do.
