That version is no more supported; and backport is not expected as its
not a 'security' problem

Status in gnome-terminal package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  In terminal witch has been used select text.
  Copy thrue left click menu copy
  Paste in Gedit or any other editor
  All copied

  In terminal witch has been used select text or continue from same terminal selection.
  Hold shift and click somewhere else so selection end side has changed.
  Copy thrue left click menu copy
  Paste in Gedit or any other editor
  Selection until shift+selection is copied.

  Instead it should copy last selection.
