[Bug 962033] Re: cant copy files to samba share if file contains more than 1 ':'

That version is no more supported; and no expecting backport as it only
concern 'security' problem.

** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

Title:
  cant copy files to samba share if file contains more than 1 ':'

Status in nautilus package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  if i copy a file from my local HD to a samba share i get

  "There was an error copying the file into
  smb://cisco.com;tvanseve@bnbeluifps01/public/labo/ProjDoc/Newproj/DCM/DCM_Toplevel/03_Test%20programs/SVT/Release_10_1/Test%20Results/2000%20streams.

  detail : "Invalid argument"

  after some testing i found that this has to do with the file name. If the filename contains more than 1 ':' i get this message. only 1 ':' seems to be ok.

  this is probably not nautilus specific issue (rater samba or samba
  client i guess?) but this is how i first encountered it

  at first it seemed to be retated to Bug #393012, but i guess that's a
  different story
