[Bug 897500] Re: package chromium-codecs-ffmpeg (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: Package is in a very bad inconsistent state - you should reinstall it before attempting a removal.

 

This version has expired some times ago, and no backport is expected as
there is no 'security' reported problem

  During installation it said it ran out of memory or something.
  Upgrading the package using Synaptic allowed me to safely remove it it
  looked like.
