Title:
Printing SVG image renders wrong
Status in cups package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Not sure this is the right package, but I need to start somewhere.
Steps to reproduce:
Download https://openclipart.org/download/224778/Green-Floral-Frame.svg
Display it with eog, notice that it looks just fine. Click "Print preview" for either a real printer or the PDF printer. Notice that the image is now broken.
Something similar happens when trying to print from inkscape (Vector rendering is broken, Bitmap rendering is okay), so I suspect this is somewhere in the printing backend.
