[Bug 1456326] Re: XServer eats up 100% cpu and is very slow on specific tasks with xfce desktop

I have same behaviour on notebook with AMD A4-5000 APU with embedded [AMD/ATI] Kabini [Radeon HD 8330].
When I press "Log Out ..." button or make screenshot - Xorg starts eating 100% of one CPU core for long time.
Ctrl-Alt-F1, Ctrl-Alt-F7 pop ups logout selector window immediately. Changing driver to proprietary fglrx is helped too.
I have tried to install 4.2 kernel with "apt-get install linux-generic-lts-wily", but it does not helped.
$ uname -a
Linux hp17 4.2.0-23-generic #28~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Thu Dec 31 13:40:42 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Title:
XServer eats up 100% cpu and is very slow on specific tasks with xfce
  desktop

Status in xorg-server package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  I am using xfce desktop.

  Issue:

When I want to log out, after clicking on the log-out button from the
start menu (that one which looks like the power button on a tv-
remote), nothing happens for several seconds before the window to
confirm the logout/lock screen/shutdown appears and the X process is
eating up 100% CPU during that time.

The same issue I have experienced when I took the screenshot: After
pressing the key combination to take a screenshot, I had to wait
several seconds before the screenshot has been presented. During the
waiting period, 100% CPU was used.

Even some other things seem to react somehow sluggishly while others are working as expected.
But when logging out, it is always annoying to wait so long for the window to choose to log out/lock the screen/shutdown.

  Expected behaviour:
  * The logout window is displayed immediately (as before).
  * The Screenshot is displayed immediately after taking it.
