[Bug 1531654] [NEW] Calc almost freezes on full table operations

Public bug reported:

When Calc as of Ubuntu 14.04 LTS is forced to do some calculation on
complete columns or tables, it can take a very long time or freeze
altogether, even if there is very little data in the table.

For example, create a table with some number series about 1000 rows in
some columns. Press Ctrl+A to select the whole table. Press 'Sort'. Calc
does not respond to user interaction for a very long time now.

If the used part of the table is selected by Shift+Ctrl+End instead, the
sorting completes almost instantly.

This problem may happen with many other operations too, and also
triggers on full column selections (just click the column header) too.

I think this is a mayor issue, as users can run into this in several
ways (column- or full table selection, several operations) and may force
them to force-quit Calc, loosing data.
