[Bug 996204] Re: Cannot change settings of Bluetooth dial-up networking connections
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if
you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version.
** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu)

Title:
Cannot change settings of Bluetooth dial-up networking connections
Status in network-manager package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
After configuring a Bluetooth DUN connection using the wizard, it appears among the available connections in the drop-down menu of the indicator.
However, the same connection does not show up among the Mobile broadband connections, so it is not possible to modify its settings (such as DNS, APN, etc.).
Steps to reproduce
1) pair a new bluetooth device
2) at the end of the wizard, tick the checkbox to setup a DUN connection, and follow the wizard to create it
3) the new connection shows up in the drop-down menu of network manager and it is usable
4) the new connection is not shown among the Mobile broadband connections, therefore its settings cannot be modified
