  desktopcouch-pair crashed with TypeError in verify_secret()

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: desktopcouch

  i tried to pair with a machine running karmic. on the karmic machine
  the pairing is reported as a success. on the lucid machine it asks for
  the secret again.
