Title:
  nm-applet crashed with SIGSEGV in
  applet_get_exported_connection_for_device() when enabling ad-hoc

Status in network-manager-applet package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Description:    Ubuntu 9.10

  network-manager:
    Installed: 0.8~a~git.20091013t193206.679d548-0ubuntu1

  3) didn't really know what to expect, i was just playing around with
  it; ad-hoc networks show up on other computers as random SSID garbage
  (and there are several of them)

  4) nm-applet kept spamming the screen saying it was
  connecting/disconnecting to the new network (console said
  notifications were throttled at 50, so its doing it a lot and fast),
  eventually nm-applet would crash
