  Google Chrome slows down Unity big time

Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I noticed that the recent Unity upgrade seems to have an issue with
  Google Chrome. Sometimes I experience Unity becoming really, really
  slow and unresponsive after while with Google Chrome having several
  tabs open. Even the new maximize window animation is very slow

  As soon as I close Google Chrome, Unity behaves normally...
