  pidgin crashed with SIGSEGV in vfprintf()

Status in pidgin package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Running up to date, installed 3 days ago, Ubuntu 11.10 with Unity
  shell. Pidgin crashes every time after displaying main window's empty
  frame for < 1 sec. It's a fresh install of Pidgin from this night over
  existing config files from 11.04. Similar bug reports are over 3
  months old, this is fresh, may be different, a lot happened to Unity.
