  quality setting does not work

Status in hplip package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: hplip

  quality setting in hp device manager / "resolution,media etc."
  selection in advance tab of print dialogue does not work..Even if I
  change dpi,cartridge settings(300 dpi black + colour) it only responds
  to general printout mode setting only(draft colour,draft gray scale,
  etc).I remember it used to work.

  eg.genaral mode : draft colour
  quality setting    : 600dpi,black+ colour

  it prints only in draft colour
