Title:
Duplicity appears to have removed lots of files from the backup
unnecessarily.
Status in duplicity package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: duplicity
Basically, on running:
duplicity inc -v 8 --encrypt-key=<key> --sign-key=<key> /src/dir
scp://dest/dir
I get the following summary at the end of a lot of lines prefixed D
--------------[ Backup Statistics ]--------------

EndTime 1272386930.12 (Tue Apr 27 17:48:50 2010)

TotalDestinationSizeChange 5028728 (4.80 MB)

-------------------------------------------------
Which is interesting, as I sure as anything haven't deleted any files
from the folder I requested backing up (let alone 262506) and the
files duplicity has listed prefixed with a D still exist in the source
folder. The DestinationSizeChange is too small to have deleted that
many files (unless they are something different).
Can I just check whether it has actually deleted those files or is
this an erroneous message I have received above? If not, could this be
fixed?
Best,
J
