  If memory runs out, maybe not much can be done, but I believe this has
  not happened to me in older Ubuntu versions:

  At about 14:30 I felt the machine sluggish and I knew chromium-browser
  had been eating up memory (4 GB RAM and 4 GB SSD swap, have seen it or
  parts of it get killed before without this result). [In the past I've
