[Bug 1540294] [NEW] Network manager stopped working after some update

Public bug reported:

'sudo NetworkManager' gives:
(NetworkManager:7010): GLib-WARNING **: GError set over the top of a previous GError or uninitialized memory.
This indicates a bug in someone's code. You must ensure an error is NULL before it's set.
The overwriting error message was: Key file does not have group 'connectivity'

To get network interface to work I have to do like this:
'sudo ip link set dev eth0 down'
'sudo dhclient eth0'

Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS

'apt-cache policy network-manager':
