Title:
pulseaudio recognizes usb audio card as only input

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
This bug affects Karmic updated to 09/15/2009.
When plugging my usb soundcard (usb id 145f:0090), pulseaudio configuring applet recognizes it only as an input device. If the card is already plugged in at boot, the output works (picked up as default device) and it is properly showing in the applet as a 7.1 virtual channels device.
