Title:
pptp-linux process not started with 10.04 Ubuntu Full Install and
  Upgrade

Status in pptp-linux package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: pptp-linux

From the Ubuntu release before 10.04 and in 10.04, I get the same
  error message from network manager.

Could not process the request because no VPN connection was active.

I've installed the right components, or so I believe. I've configured
  the vpn.

If someone could point out intermediate files and a way to invoke
  them, I'd appreciate it.
