Title:
Option GT 3G+ EMEA broadband card does not initialize correctly when
  hotplugged

Status in modemmanager package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: modemmanager

This broadband wireless card does not work when hotpluged:
Option N.V. Qualcomm MSM6275 UMTS chip
    Model: GlobeTrotter 3G+

  Workaround, kill modem-manager.

I've appended these log files for Lucid:

  1 Failed log after hot-plug
    1.1 modem.log_failed.txt
    1.2 mm-test.py_failed.log
    1.3 nm.log_failed.txt

  2. Successful connection when card was inserted before network-manager service started
    2.1 modem.log_succ.txt
    2.2 nm.log_succ.txt
    2.3 mm-test.py_succ.log

  Kind regards,
  Thorsten
