In my case is the other way around: I try to edit an ODT document and
instead of Libreoffice, unduer Ubuntu TS, Evince opens the ODT file (all
wrong, of course)!!??

  Invalid

Bug description:
  evince document viewer is unable to open a .odt document which is on a
  flash drive which is on a usb port. Can anyone assist with this
  problem?
