Title:
Debconf prompt for /etc/libreoffice/sofficerc when upgrading to
  precise

Status in libreoffice package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 11.10 to 12.04 upgrade
  Ubuntu 12.04 to Q upgrade

When upgrading I encountered a debconf prompt for
/etc/libreoffice/sofficerc. It prompts me to keep the old, customized
conffile or replace it with the new one. I ahve not modified this
file, and I believe the debconf prompt should not appear. Instead I
think we might have some broken conffile handling somewhere in
  libreoffice.

The sofficerc file has not been touched in quite awhile, and I am fairly certain I have never modified it by hand:
  -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 152 Aug 24 2010 /etc/libreoffice/sofficerc

  Diff of old to new:

  --- /etc/libreoffice/sofficerc	2010-08-24 13:05:09.000000000 -0400
  +++ /etc/libreoffice/sofficerc.dpkg-new	2012-01-13 14:25:24.000000000 -0500

I checked another system running 11.10, and the values in sofficerc
are identical to the original version here, so presumably that system
would be affected on upgrade too. Both systems I checked had OO.o
installed as part of the original OS load, which was either 8.04 (this
system) or10.10 (the other system I checked).

The md5sum of the original file on both 11.10 systems is:
  2a017cf788ad5557c0603ea9d4aa4aee /etc/libreoffice/sofficerc
