  package libvdpau1:amd64 0.7-1ubuntu0.1 failed to install/upgrade:
  package libvdpau1:amd64 is already installed and configured

Status in libvdpau package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  No LSB

  Error occurred at same time as the other one I posted today, while
  installing Nvidia.

  was installing nvidia-304 via sudo because my screen is locked at 1024(4:3), cancelled mid-install, tried to install from options menu, bug alert. Probably conflicting packages or configs because of improper installs.

  I expected to install a driver that would enable my screen to run
