Title:
DuplicityInstance.vala:552: duplicity exited with value 1
Status in “deja-dup” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Description: Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS
Release: 10.04
deja-dup:
Installed: 14.2-0ubuntu0.1
Candidate: 14.2-0ubuntu0.1
Version table:

Version table:
*** 0.6.08b-0ubuntu2 0

Expected Outcome: deja-dup should have continued with the remaining part of the earlier backup. (I had clicked on "Resume Later" when an earlier backup was going on.)
Actual Outcome: When I run deja-dup Backup or Restore, I get the message: "deja-dup exited with unknown error". So, I ran it from the terminal and this is the output that I got:
rigved@rigved-desktop:~$ deja-dup

As you can see, my external hard drive has a space in the name. So, I
ran the following duplicity command manually. I have attached the log
files of the runs.
First command:
rigved@rigved-desktop:~$ duplicity collection-status --gio
file:///media/My%20Passport/UbuntuBackup --verbosity=9 --gpg-options=
--archive-dir=/home/rigved/.cache/deja-dup --log-file=/tmp/deja-dup-
LR4W1V
and the second command:
rigved@rigved-desktop:~$ duplicity collection-status
--exclude="/media/My Passport/UbuntuBackup"
--exclude="/home/rigved/Rigved on WINDOWS"
--exclude="/home/rigved/Documents on WINDOWS"
--exclude=/home/rigved/.local/share/Trash
--exclude=/home/rigved/.Private --exclude=/home/rigved/.recent-
applications.xbel --exclude=/home/rigved/.recently-used.xbel
--exclude=/home/rigved/.xsession-errors --exclude=/home/rigved/.gvfs
--exclude=/home/rigved/.thumbnails --exclude=/home/rigved/.cache
--include=/home/rigved --include=/var/cache/apt --exclude=/sys
--exclude=/proc --exclude=/tmp --exclude=** --gio
file:///media/My%20Passport/UbuntuBackup --verbosity=9 --gpg-options=
--archive-dir=/home/rigved/.cache/deja-dup --log-file=/tmp/deja-dup-
