  No new mail notifications in the messaging indicator

Status in “thunderbird” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Thunderbird 7.0~b1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu4 under Ubuntu 11.10 beta 1
  AMD64.

  When new mail arrives there is a popup notification shown but message
  indicator does not change the color and no new mail information is
  available when I click on it.
