[Bug 691210] Re: software center is invisible
Thanks for reporting this error, and we're sorry we didn't get to it
earlier.
The code has changed a lot since your report. So it's quite likely this
problem has been fixed anyway, and Ubuntu Software Center will be better
off if engineers spend their time investigating problems that people
have been reporting more recently. If you still do experience the
problem, please reopen this report. Thanks for your understanding.

Title:
Uses 100% CPU and fails to launch
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: software-center
Starting software center results in cpu usage going to 100% but no gui
opens. I have to kill software center in top to release the cpu
drain.
I have had this problem as long as software center has existed.
I suspect it has something to do with the fact that I'm running an
nvidia card, because software center runs on my other pc, a netbook
with intel gma 3150 graphics.
