Title:
Not possible to copy text strings into the seahorse password dialog
Status in Seahorse:
Fix Released
Status in “seahorse” package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
Binary package hint: seahorse
It is not possible to copy text strings from the clipboard into the seahorse
password entry dialog. If you press Ctrl + C the passworddialog box remains empty.
This would be usefull for people which are using a password-manager, which is
able to copy paswords into the clipboard without displaying them on the screen.
Copying the password strings into the password-dialog works fine with other
applications, e.g. truecrypt.
Tested with Seahorse 2.26.1 in Ubuntu 9.04.
I also posted this as a bug in the upstream-package here: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=588431
Is that the correct proceeding?
