If the problem persists, please mark this bug as "also affects project
Libreoffice" or "also affects distribution Libreoffice (Ubuntu)" if that
has not happened already.

Please leave references to upstream OpenOffice.org bugs in place to
allow cross pollination.

  Press F5, it displays the same as it does in Edit mode & Microsoft
  Office Power Point Viewer 2007.

  4) What happens instead is in Slide 2 some icons are distorted in
  Slide Show versus Edit mode and MSOPPV2007 (please see attached
  screenshots.tar.bz2).

  Unconfirmed regression: OpenOffice Impress 2.4 (Ubuntu 8.04) does  not
  have that issue.
