There are no new official OpenOffice.org releases in Ubuntu packaging anymore => Won't Fix  

If the problem persists, please mark this bug as "also affects project
Libreoffice" or "also affects distribution Libreoffice (Ubuntu)" if that
has not happened already.

Please leave references to upstream OpenOffice.org bugs in place to
allow cross pollination.

  Default 1 master slide -> secondary click slide -> Slide -> Set
  Background Picture for Slide... -> home-main.png -> OK button -> click
  Default 2 master slide -> secondary click slide -> Slide -> Set
  Background Picture for Slide... -> logo.png -> OK button -> click
  Default 3 master slide -> secondary click slide -> Slide -> Set
  Background Picture for Slide... -> logo.png -> OK button -> File ->
  Save As... -> Name: example -> File type ODF Presentation odp -> Save
  button -> File -> Close -> re-open -> View -> Master -> Slide Master
  and one sees the Master slide images as inserted before one closed the
  file.

  4) What happens instead is notice home-main.png has been inserted into
  Default 2 and Default 3 Master slides.

  WORKAROUND: Save file as PPT.

  Original Reporter Comments: seems as if bug #201005 was not fixed
  properly.
