[Bug 581605] migrating packaging from OpenOffice.org to Libreoffice
[This is an automated message.]
There are no new official OpenOffice.org releases in Ubuntu packaging anymore => Won't Fix
If the problem persists, please mark this bug as "also affects project
Libreoffice" or "also affects distribution Libreoffice (Ubuntu)" if that
has not happened already.
Please leave references to upstream OpenOffice.org bugs in place to

Title:
[3.2.1] Conversion from ppt to odp in open office
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Status in “openoffice.org” package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
In Ubuntu Lucid's Open Office 3.2: on opening a MS .ppt in Impress, I
have problems with pictures that were originally created by Excel.
Typically one or more bars (on a bar chart) has an extra colour or
there are strange boxes round the bars. I have attached a tar.gz
containing a sample .ppt & its resultant .odp. Interestingly, when I
posted a query about this on Open Office Community Forum, one reply
was that on Windows 7 using OO3.2.1, the problem is fixed. I suggest
that it would be a good idea to incorporate 003.2.1 into Ubuntu Lucid.
