[This is an automated message.]
There are no new official OpenOffice.org releases in Ubuntu packaging anymore => Won't Fix

If the problem persists, please mark this bug as "also affects project
Libreoffice" or "also affects distribution Libreoffice (Ubuntu)" if that
has not happened already.

  3) What is expected to happen is when one performs via the Terminal:

  firefox
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/350193/+attachment/516406/+files
  /test-data.html && localc -nologo

  secondary click the center of the table in Firefox -> click Select All
  -> secondary click the center of the table in Firefox -> click Copy ->
  in Calc secondary click cell C7 -> click Paste

   it does so quickly and successfully.

  4) What happens instead is that it hangs Calc for a long time (15
  seconds - 3 minutes) then pastes or hangs Calc indefinitely.

  WORKAROUND: Copying from Firefox and pasting into Gnumeric has no
  delay.
