Sorry for the incredibly slow response to this report ...

I don't understand what the bug is here. Yes, there are two spaces at
the end of that sentence. I don't know how I did that (it's not my
normal style or anything), but it's an XML document, so what difference
does it make?

It would be an error to change ".)" to ")." here. The sentence started
inside the brackets, so it should end inside the brackets.
