[Bug 851289] Re: Unable to mount any device or partition as non-root user
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 851055 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/851055
This affects me as well... I'm running the 64-bit edition on my laptop.
Connecting a USB drive or even trying to access the CD drive will come
up with an error saying "Not Authorized". The strange thing is, when I
right click on the drive and press "Eject" or "Safely Remove" from the
menu, the error STILL comes up. I have no access whatsoever. This all
started for me after I set up the 3D cube with Unity, which is known to
have glitchy side-effects anyway.

Title:
Unable to mount any device or partition as non-root user
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I am not sure if I am filing this against the correct app.
With today's Oneiric update, I am suddenly no longer able to mount any
of my partitions or external drives / devices. I get the following
error message: "Unable to mount XYZ - Not authorized" (where XYZ is
the name of the device or partition).
I am able to mount those devices as root just fine, however.
