[Bug 732171] Re: Color scheme issues- not using same scheme

This bug was reported about the GTK2 UI. We now have a GTK3 UI, and
Matthew McGowan has done a lot of work on it to make it work with the
Ambiance, Radiance, High Contrast, and High Contrast Inverse themes,
which are the only themes selectable without installing gnome-tweak-
tool. Further, the "Customize Theme" dialog is not available in 11.10.

So if you still experience this bug with 4.1.22 or later, please specify
exactly which theme the problem occurs with, and how to install it.
Thanks.

Title:
Color scheme issues- not using same scheme

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: software-center

The background is a fade between a standard image and the "input
boxes" color, but the text color is taken from "windows" in the main
view. This makes it impossible to read the text for applications
  under certain conditions.
