Title:
[hardy] Dragging Pictures From Browser Should Work
Status in The OpenOffice.org Suite:
Confirmed
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Status in “openoffice.org” package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
When you drag and drop a picture from epiphany (and probably firefox),
you expect to see the picture added to your form. This is not the
case. Instead, the html will be posted. To reproduce:
Open a new openoffice writer project
Open google.com with epiphany (or firefox)
Drag the google logo to your project.
You will receive <img
src="http://www.google.com/intl/en/images/logo.gif" alt="Google"
height="110" width="276"> instead of the picture.
WORKAROUND: Drag the google logo to the desktop, and then drag it to
openoffice.
