Bug description:
  I plug in my external usb hard drive which works with all previous
  versions of ubuntu, nautilus fails to auto mount it, and when I double
  click on it, rather than allowing me to escalate permissions to mount
  (if indeed these are required), it tells me:

  Unable to mount <drivename>
  Not Authorized
