I still have this issue on 11.10 updated on September 17. It is my
impression that the second and wrong battery indicator appears in the
"systray". It is not clickable but hovering over wiht the mouse shows
what it should show ("Laptop battery is charged", for instance). As I
said before I have "all" old indicators enabled.

In general the systray is not working as it should, or as it worked in
Natty. For instance the icon that appears when upgrading/updating
sometimes comes up huge and it goes out of the top panel. The second and
wrong battery also lies in the bottom of the panel and is half visible,
I will attach a screenshot.
