Title:
  nautilus memory leak

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete
Status in “nautilus” source package in Maverick:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
When I open up my process manager

  gnome-system-monitor

The nautilus process is always listed as running. During its running
state it starts to eat up memory until the system becomes unstable and
crashes. Stopping nautilus prevents the situation temperarly but

  nautilus -q
  sudo nautilus -q
  killall nautilus
  sudo killall nautilus
  nautilus --sm-disable
  sudo nautilus --sm-disable

disable this from happening? When attempting to kill nautilus I'm
making sure it's running and not stopped.

I'm at a loss here. Thank you for your time.
