[Bug 815984] Re: keyboard/mouse freeze upon visiting news.yahoo.com
I am glad to know it wasn't just me. I have been keeping up with natty
updates and lately I have not seen the problem recur. I visit Yahoo!
News almost daily now with no problems noted except as in previous
comments.

Title:
keyboard/mouse freeze upon visiting news.yahoo.com
Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Using the standard NoScript whitelist and Firefix web browser, the
keyboard and mouse lock up when visiting an individual news story web
page at news.yahoo.com. This has occured with USB mouse and PS-2
mouse and has been recreated several times since about 7/21/11. The
only recourse upon lockup is to reboot the PC because there is no
access to the Force-Quit control in the panel of Ubuntu 11.04.
