[Bug 741786] Re: a11y: no visual cues when links are selected
Thanks for this report, Lucian. In 4.1.23.3, the particular links you
mention -- the "Developer Web Site" link, and the "Write your own
review" button -- do have visible focus. So do the "Yes", "No", and
"Inappropriate?" links for reviews.
There are unfortunately several items that aren't focusable, or that are
focusable but not visibly. Most of these require fixing individually, so
they should be reported individually too. For example, I've just
reported bug 854168 on the home screen banner, and bug 854175 on the
category links on the home screen, bug 854177 on the "More" buttons. See
also bug 620506 about scrolling to see the focused item.

Title:
a11y: no visual cues when links are selected
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: software-center
Some users need to access the computer via keyboard only - or with
limited mouse capabilities.
Users can jump from element to element with the TAB key in the
application description and most elements from the description present
a visual cue when they have the keyboard focus.
Links do not change appearance in any way when focused. This applies at least to:
* the website link
* "be the first to review it" link
