Hence, this bug report is being closed due to your last comment
regarding this being fixed with an update to LibreOffice. For future
reference you can manage the status of your own bugs by clicking on the
current status in the yellow line and then choosing a new status in the
revealed drop down box. You can learn more about bug statuses at

Binary package hint: openoffice.org
This is simalar to other bugs reported but I did not see exactly this
one. IMO this is a feature request: Faster saving please.
I am editing a 10 page ODF document that I imported from a docx. When
I press C-s to save it takes about 10 seconds to save. I click C-s
often, by reflex, but while it is spinning wheels for 10 seconds
saving I cannot do any work. This is interrupting and discourages
constant saving.
