Title:
  Using Unity setting "Hide Launcher - never", files on desktop can not
  be placed close to the launcher

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  It it not possible to place files, folders or shortcuts on the desktop close to the launcher.
  This makes sense with default Unity settings, but not with "Hide Launcher - never" (CompizConfig Settings Manager) setting.
