[Bug 635547] Re: Simulate requires an authentication before

Previously aptdaemon supported a feature called future cache. It allowed
you to show the changes of a new action after all queued transactions
would have been applied. So s-c could have used the size/download
properties from aptdaemon instead of calculating them itself. So I close
the bug for s-c.

Title:
  Simulate requires an authentication before

Status in “aptdaemon” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: aptdaemon

The transaction should require authentication if the Run method was
called. This way the user could simulate a transaction and get e.g.
the download size or dependencies before haing to authenticate for the
action. This would allow to provide better dialogs before
authentication. Furthermore s-c could show the download/dependencies
  in the package description.
