I just restarted nautilus and the bug vanished. I have no idea how I can
reproduce it. If I notice anything, I'll report back.

  Text file previews appear outside the icons

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  I've just upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10 and I noticed the text file
  previews shown in the thumbnails are broken. Instead of the part of
  the text that fits inside the icon, the whole text is shown or at
  least some lines break outside the thumbnail boundaries. The installed
  nautilus version is 1:3.1.92-0ubuntu2. I've attached a screenshot
  which shows the problem.
