- I have ubuntu-desktop and kubuntu-desktop installed When running software-center from kubuntu everything works fine until using the 'install' button. after hitting the 'install' button, nothing happens. nothing installs. and no permissions login appears. I have checked behind the software-center window to make sure it wasn't behind it, it is not appearing at all.
