[Bug 284596] Re: nm-applet fails when another user is logged in

 

Indeed, this is addressed in NM 0.9; available in Oneiric.

Since the upstream bug is closed I'll now close the bug task for Ubuntu.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: network-manager

  nm-applet failed to acquire NetworkManagerUserSettings service when another user is login:

  NetworkManagerUserSettings service as it is already taken.  Return: 3

  How to reproduce:
  Update to intrepid
  Log on first user
  Switch to second and he would not be able to use nm-applet.
  network-manager and network-manager-gnome version: 0.7~~svn20081015t024626-0ubuntu1
